New York City Photography - shooting the Big Apple - has always been my passion. I see both crystalline city scapes - cut-glass jewels of light - and the moody Noir that's always been a part of our city and our psyche. Noir, in fact, never left. Lucky for us!

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and historic Art Students League, Miriam exhibits in NY, Los Angeles, and online. Her Patch network galleries appear throughout the Eastern US, and she has been interviewed on radio and television about her urban photography. Miriam frequently makes "Picture of the Day" on NY1 TV. She was an artist from an early age; Norman Rockwell gave her a gold star in high school. Miriam dedicates all sales to the care of her mother, an amazing woman living an inspirational life.
From the street to the sublime, Miriam reveals a New York that travelers fondly recall and city dwellers secretly adore. She knows that the drama of Film Noir never left, to be found in the shadows or any sunlit street corner, yet Miriam also sees music in the details of an ordinary building. From "City Lights" to "Urban Details" and "Sun and Shadow,” Miriam balances the decorative with the introspective, offering solace for house and home, mind, heart, and soul.
